The National Center for Falcons has opened registration for falcons taking part in the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival 2026, according to the Saudi Press Agency. The festival is scheduled for 17 to 30 November at the center's headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh.
Registration calendar
Registration and falcon activation run on the center's electronic platform from 22 October to 2 November. New adult falcons (Qaranis) and ownership transfers are handled in person from 29 to 31 October, between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., at the headquarters. A review and correction period follows online from 3 to 5 November.
International participants
International participants may register in person from 17 to 23 November, between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., and then verify their accounts through the center's platform.
For the trade
Falconers are asked to complete each step within the deadline set for its stage. Owners planning to enter a bird, particularly one that changed hands recently, will want the ownership transfer recorded before the in-person window closes on 31 October. The festival dates are already listed on the Saqr Index event page.
